Alan visited us last year and filled our space with dazzling jewelry that we could not keep our eyes off of. The event was such a wonderful time that we couldn’t wait to host him again this year.

We first discovered his work through our neighbor, Boston Gown Designer Daniel Faucher, who has known him for many years and frequently purchases his pieces for his clients. We fell  even more in love with his designs after visiting the Barbara Berger Fashion Jewelry exhibit at the MAD in New York. Alan’s pieces were featured among Chanel, Lanvin, Schreiner, & Mariam Haskell. This exhibit truly showcased the best of the best in costume jewelry.

His jewelry is on the collectible list as established by the 2013 Assouline book, “Fashion Jewelry: The Collection of Barbara Berger.”  Berger, well-known as one of the world’s foremost collectors of fashion jewelry, owns many of Alan’s pieces. Each piece is a unique creation, using vintage stones and Swarovski crystals– they are truly amazing.  The Canadian Designers pieces have been worn by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, Katy Perry and is regularly worn by Canadian First Lady, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.

We will be hosting an evening reception on Wednesday, September 21st from 5:30-7 PM to welcome Alan to Boston. All of his latest collectible pieces will be on display and it’s so fun to try on his jewelry.  Alan’s work transforms our store into a museum of glamorous one-of-a-kind pieces.

In addition to the reception, he will be available for private appointments in studio on September 21st & 22nd. This is an amazing opportunity to work one-on-one with Alan to create your own unique masterpiece for an event or ‘just because.’

As Alan would say, “Wear daily, in Random Acts of Glamour.”
