M. Flynn has been changing the jewelry landscape in Boston since it opened 15 years ago. M. Flynn designs jewelry including engagement rings and wedding bands in-house, and also carries jewelry from incredible makers like Anita Ko, Brent Neale, Kwiat, Melissa Kaye and Marie Litchtenberg.

With a focus on the country’s most wanted designers and M. Flynn’s own custom jewelry program, the store serves the modern jewelry customer who mixes high and low pieces and seeks jewelry that fits their personality and lifestyle.

CURRENT OPENINGS

Assistant Jewelry Sales Stylist

M. Flynn is seeking an assistant jewelry sales stylist who is obsessed with jewelry and fashion, has a great attention to detail, customer focused and can work in a collaborative environment to support our sales and marketing teams. We love jewelry, have a fun unique workplace and we are looking to add the right person to our team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, however other duties may be assigned based on business necessity:

Sales Support:

  • Work closely with customers across all channels to make decisions on purchases, returns, repairs and exchanges
  • Create a positive and rewarding client experience, that is warm and hospitable in all customer interactions, maintaining the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism
  • Help support sales team reach sales goals through managing customer inquiries, and identifying sales opportunities
  • Help to generate sales reports
  • Consistently and accurately capture client data and all customer inquiries in support of building and developing lasting relationships
  • Develop strong product knowledge of the entire line of M. Flynn’s products and designer products
  • Independently and proactively resolve client issues and assist with customer service
  • Help with in store event planning and outreach to customers
  • Assist with sales and marketing support administrative tasks as needed

Marketing Support:

  • Assist marketing team with events and administrative duties

   Qualifications

    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
    • Solution-oriented, and a self-starter
    • Organizational skills, attention to detail, time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Individual must be able to work on site with a primary schedule of Tuesday’s through Friday’s from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturday’s from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm – some flexibility and adaptability may be requested.
    • Individual is required to attend occasional special events scheduled in advance.

Fine Jewelry Sales Specialist

M. Flynn is seeking an experienced Fine Jewelry Sales Specialist who is obsessed with jewelry and fashion, has a great attention to detail, customer focused and will assist and consult clients in selecting and purchasing fine jewelry, engagement rings, wedding bands and loose diamonds/gemstones. This position will also work with clients on custom design projects. We love jewelry, have a fun unique workplace, and we are looking to add the right person to our team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, however other duties may be assigned based on business necessity:

  • Work closely with customers across all channels to make purchasing decisions on fine jewelry, engagement rings, wedding bands, and loose diamonds/gemstone purchases
  • Sit with clients on custom design projects, evaluate best design options and collaborate with M. Flynn’s production team to create custom jewelry pieces  Follow projects from start to finish to make sure the customer is completely satisfied
  • Create a positive and rewarding client experience that is warm and hospitable in all customer interactions, maintaining the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism
  • Help support the rest of the sales team reach sales goals through managing customer inquiries, and identifying opportunities
  • Generate sales reports to identify trends bridal, custom and loose stone sales
  • Consistently and accurately capture client data and all customer inquiries in support of building and developing lasting relationships
  • Develop strong product knowledge of the entire line of M. Flynn’s products and designer products
  • Independently and proactively resolve client issues and assist with customer service
  • Help with in store event planning and outreach to customers

  • Strong knowledge of fine jewelry materials, gemstones, and diamonds. GIA coursework a plus.
