[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I spent the years prior to launching my line first, as a classical violinist and then, as a corporate attorney at a big firm and in house at 20th Century Fox. With the birth of my twins, I was at a crossroads in my life. It really made clear how precious and quickly passing time is, and given this, I came to the (scary) decision that if I were to spend time doing something every day, it had to be something that felt meaningful and worthwhile. I left the law and fell upon metalsmithing and discovered that the design aspect really resonated with me. Fast forward and at the beginning of 2013, I decided I had a clear voice I wanted to share. There was a dearth of delicate pieces out there that still felt sophisticated and to be taken seriously. Within the first month of launching my website, one of my still largest retailers, Catbird, reached out and picked up the line. As they say, the rest is history.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]
[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I envy the naivete with which I entered the jewelry scene. I didn’t know any designers that were out there at the moment by name, didn’t know which stores I wanted to be in, didn’t know what would sell, etc. I starting designing pieces that I wanted to wear. That was it. To a large extent, that’s still what inspires my designs. I’m not a trends driven person and when designing, I try to drown out all the noise around me from what others are doing, what stores are carrying, what I see all over social media, and really try to distill things down to what I find beautiful. I love balance, nature, geometry, clean lines, music and the diversity of people from all walks of life.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I’m being sincere when I say, it’s watching people’s reactions when they try our pieces on and also feeling the importance people attach to each of our pieces. Jewelry is so personal and each person tells a different story with a piece which I think is super cool.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]
